Lara Bernays was born and bred in Myddfai and has followed in the footsteps of the Physicians of Myddfai in becoming an herbalist.

This range of natural herbals botanicals has been put together by Medical Herbalist Lara Julia Bernays Bsc (hons) MNIMH who was born to, and grew up in the hills of Myddfai. Inspired by the heritage of the valley, Lara went on to gain a science degree in Herbal Medicine.
In this range Lara brings to life recipes written by the Physicians of Myddfai, a family famed throughout Medieval Europe for their knowledge of using plants as medicine.
With a modern approach and scientific understanding Lara has developed these ancient recipes to suit today’s lifestyle.
Each product has an original Physicians of Myddfai quote taken from the 14th century Red Book of Hergest.
